Some rumours recently surfaced indicating that Samsung could use the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset in the new Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus. Now a new leak suggests that this chipset may also be included in the Galaxy S25 FE device. Here are the details
Galaxy S25 FE will come with Dimensity 9400
The Exynos 2500 chipset developed by Samsung was shelved due to production problems in the 3-nanometre process. On top of that, Samsung allegedly started negotiations with MediaTek and took the performance monster Dimensity 9400 chipset on its radar. Providing information on the subject, Jukanlosreve stated that there is also the possibility that this processor may be limited to the Galaxy S25 FE.
According to rumours, Samsung will use the Snadpragon 8 Elite (Snapdragon 8 Gen 4) chipset developed by Qualcomm worldwide in the entire Galaxy S25 series.
In the Galaxy S25 FE, a more affordable option, Dimensity 9400 will be included. The information from the source on the subject was as follows:
‘Negotiations between Samsung and MediaTek, which initially aimed to include the Dimensity chip in the Galaxy S25, changed the decision to place the Dimensity chip in the S25 FE.’
For now, it is worth noting that there is no response from Samsung and MediaTek regarding the allegations. However, it is estimated that more clear information on the subject will emerge in the coming weeks.
So what do you think about this issue?
